About Lazy Salon & 'Deep Time':
Lazy Salon is Sean Byrne, producer & multi-instrumentalist residing near the edge of the Pinelands of southern New Jersey. The Deep Time EP is his 10th release as Lazy Salon since he began creating albums & EPs under the project name in 2014. 

 The Deep Time EP wades further into Lazy Salon's fixation with the atmospheric end of downtempo/electronica, the melodic dub & techno-inspired side of post-rock, and the textured tones of shoegaze & ambient. 

 In addition to his selected output as Lazy Salon, Byrne has also contributed guest mixes over the years for a variety of outlets such as NTS Radio and Dublab. 

 Lazy Salon's approach to modern instrumental music begins with Byrne's recording of live organic performance elements which are then sampled, looped & treated to compose songs within the context of electronic & dub music approaches. 

 A drummer first & foremost, Byrne's attention to interlocking beats & percussion provides a foundation upon which swells of melodic & textured sounds expand and contract to create a modern psychedelic instrumental listening experience. 

 In the 90s & early 2000's Byrne could be found behind the drum kit for a variety of indie & noise-pop groups including Mazarin, Lenola, BC Camplight and others. Throughout the 2000's he was the primary songwriter for the dream-folk home recording project The Twin Atlas. More recently he can be found on drums with the instrumental trio Camino Sound and as sometime collaborator in the guitar-loop dub/ambient project xpoemsx. 

 Deep Time will be released on 8/1/25 on Bandcamp & streaming outlets.

About 'Bellis':
'Bellis' is a 6 song set by Lazy Salon created using samples, sensory percussion, live drumming, keyboards & loops. The resulting songs are a meditative collection that touch upon both electronic & organic qualities, with a nod to the moody & melodic side of downtempo, dub, textured beats & modern soundtrack psychedelia. The performances are digital in nature but also very hand-made in their production. The floral track titles reflect a sense of new growth, restorative rebirth and infinite new paths. 'Bellis' is an ear-bud friendly mini-album to pair with a lovely slide from spring into summer.
